About Titty Bingo

If you’ve ever been to Austin, you’ve probably seen our brightly colored bumper stickers.

Maybe, you saw a sticker in Rome, Italy, a small burg in Montana, or a bar scene in the Quentin Tarantino film “Death Proof”. You might have asked yourself, “What in the hell is Titty Bingo and how do I play?”

Our band name has been co-opted into the slang lexicon, turned into an economic analogy, and cursed as an ode to advertising overkill.

If you haven’t seen us rock live at Farm Aid, Willie Nelson’s famous 4th of July picnic, or sweating at various tonks, dives, and fine drinking establishments over the past 20 years, you may not know our music.

Well, we’re more than a wildly popular bumper sticker, and we’re bringing our Texas garage rock/blues/country to the world…and you.

Dahr explains, “We’re updating our work from over the years and releasing songs digitally. Most of the music was recorded while we were just having fun. There was no pressure and the music reflects that. There’s hours and hours of tape and we anticipate a number of releases.”

So, take a listen to our music and you’ll be able to say you’ve played Titty Bingo.

I picked up a wore out ovation 12 from John Michael Montgomery s place in Nicholasville ky.about 10 years ago. First 5 frets wore out and preamp button trashed.. I brought her back to life. She is so sweet. If anyone every makes it to pueblo west for some chongstar or Willis strain look me up and we can setup a reunion. She’s back on stage! A little history about her would be nice. Thank you
